Seller's Guide
Interview and Select an Agent.
This is the most important relationship you’ll form on your home selling journey. Pick the right agent and you’ll likely get a better sales price for your house. Schedule a call to meet one of our Agents.
Price Your Home.
How much is your home worth? That’s the … $$$ question. Whatever the number, you need to know it. This is how our agent will help you pinpoint the price. What's Your Home Worth?
Prep Your Home for Sale.
The process begins with getting to know you and your home. In an initial meeting, before you commit to hiring a Weichert Sales Associate, he or she will take exterior and interior photos, measure each room, and assess your home's key features. The Associate will also ask about any improvements you may have made over the years and listen to your concerns.
Today, homebuyers have unfettered access to property listings online, so you must make a great first impression — on the internet and IRL. That means you’ll have to declutter all the stuff you’ve accumulated over the years, make any necessary repairs, and get your home in swoon-worthy condition.
Market Your Home.
Homebuyers look at countless listings online. The best-marketed homes have beautiful photos and compelling property descriptions, so they can get likes — which can amount to buyer interest — on social media. Agents may also use videos, virtual tours, texts, and audio messages. It’s time to consider how to promote your property.
Everything our Sales Associate learns will go into creating a customized marketing plan that will provide you with a clear idea of what will be done to attract the most potential buyers to your home. Your plan will include such features as:
· A schedule of marketing activities
· A list of print materials and websites that will carry the ad for your home.
· Promotional materials to hand out or mail with photos of your home and its special features.
· The use of our Open House program to bring you potential buyers.
